About Raintown Dog Training

A Skilled and Caring Team

Raintown is made up of a team of zealous and dedicated animal-lovers, who are driven to help strengthen the bond between dog and parent. Consistently ranked among the city's best, we offer more group classes than any other company in Vancouver.

Our certified trainers are well educated and well-endorsed, with top-tier certifications and a commitment to effective, professional training. We love bringing our passion and profession together in a way that builds community and strengthens relationships. We truly care about your experience working with us.

Our mission is to build community, improve canine welfare, and debunk common dog myths through education and coaching.

By tailoring our approach to each pup and human, we create meaningful connections and foster personal growth through a variety of group, one-on-one, and customized dog training classes.

Meet Your Trainers

Here to empower dog-parents with inspiration, skills and knowledge.

A Family-Style Experience

Raintown exists through the vision of Kris Hampton alongside her incredible team of trainers, and the amazing community that has grown along with us. Together with our clients, our team have built a unique and loving environment that inspires humans and their fur-babies to become their best, while having lots of fun in the process. We believe that our relationship with each other and with you (and of course with your pups!)  is what makes dog parents return time and again for more classes with Raintown.

We love creating a safe space for people to process - and sometimes chuckle at - the ups and downs of dog-parenting together.  Above all else, we value knowledge, growth, authenticity and shared joy!

Our training plans for behavioural modification needs are decided on a case-by-case basis. The first session of a private bundle is a personal consultation with a certified dog training professional. Rest assured, we’ll always work with research-based, scientifically proven methods with empathy and patience for your benefit.

  • You will have lifetime access to all course materials, including videos and cheat sheets. This means you can revisit the lessons anytime, refresh your skills, or review exercises whenever you need.

  • We require a minimum of 48-hours notice for cancelled sessions. Cancellations with less than 48-hours notice or no-shows will forfeit the cost of the full session.
