Once your floofers are grown, we love to take your foundational training skills to the next level so that you can continue to grow into a calm and confident dog-parent. Do you want to be a clicker-savvy trainer? Have a recall that makes your neighbours’ jaws drop? Join our Basic Manners Classes!
Basic Manners Classes at Raintown are designed to push your training skills further by honing your mechanics, your understanding of how dog’s learn (so we can better teach them!), and your canine communication skills.
During this five-week course, we cover emergency recall, calm greetings, vocal cue discrimination, stationing, and more. We also do lots of laughing…

The Course
Up to 6 dogs per class (+ two trainers)
Class 1 = Orientation (no pups allowed - humans only! Attendance Required)
Class 2 = Go to Mat (Place Targeting)
Class 3 = Recall
Class 4 = Calm (Street) Greetings
Class 5 = Engage-Disengage, Talent Show
We accept dogs 5 months and older for Basic Manners Classes.
If your dog is dealing with reactivity issues or excessive barking in group settings, please contact us before registering for a class.

TRAIN YOUR DOG AT THE BEACH
Once you’ve completed Basic Manners Level 1 at Raintown, we take your skills to the next level outdoors!
Basic Manners Level 2 Classes at Raintown are designed to push your training skills even further than level 1 building on your existing skills in an outdoors environment.
During this five-week course, we cover emergency recall at the beach, calm greetings on a walk, pattern games, and more.
