For Puppies 7-21 Weeks
Did you know the first five months of a puppy’s life are a critical window for socialization and brain development? It’s the perfect time to gently introduce your pup to new people, animals, and environments—setting the stage for a confident, well-adjusted adult dog.
At Raintown, we offer two levels of puppy classes based on age and stage. We recommend taking both classes for the best start, but you’re welcome to join just one depending on your pup’s age and needs.
Our two puppy programs cover everything from crate and potty training to recall, leash walking, socialization, and more. We use fun, gentle methods to help your pup build confidence and key life skills during their most important developmental stage.
We also offer extra puppy socialization sessions to help your pup gain even more positive experiences during this important time.

For Puppies 7-12 Weeks
Times: 1 hour on Saturdays for 3 weeks (+ 1 free social!)

Big learning for little paws
Puppy Preschool at Raintown is designed to gently introduce your young pup (7–12 weeks) to new sights, sounds, surfaces—and plenty of supervised play. We cover early-life essentials like crate training, bite inhibition, potty training, and more, all in a safe and supportive environment.
This 3-week series also includes a free puppy socialization drop-in to keep the playtime going! It’s the perfect springboard for getting to know the Raintown team and training style before moving on to Puppy Kindergarten.
The Classes

We welcome puppies aged 7–12 weeks who have received at least one round of vaccinations. It's important not to wait until all shots are completed—early socialization is key. For more details on vaccination timing and safety, please read our article on Puppy Socialization.

Play, learn, and bond with your puppy
Got a puppy (10-21 weeks) ready to take the next step? Our Puppy Kindergarten classes are perfect for continuing socialization (yes, there’s still plenty of play!) while building essential training foundations.
Over five fun and informative weeks, we’ll guide you through key skills like loose-leash walking, body handling, recall, and more—all while helping you learn to read your puppy’s body language and support their confidence.
Puppy Kindergarten is a great way to set your dog up for long-term success—and it’s the ideal bridge to our more advanced Basic Manners classes once your pup enters adolescence.
